As with car rental anywhere in the world, it is important that you read and understand the terms and conditions applicable to each of our rental agents, for the avoidance of confusion or misunderstanding.
All rates are quoted in US Dollars and are fully inclusive of mileage charges and local taxes.
Payment can also be made by VISA and Mastercard credit cards and will be in local currency TT$.
Thrifty Car Rentals also accepts AMEX credit cards which will be charged in US$.
Minor variations may occur in the final charge due to currency fluctuations.
Please note that credit card charges will be applied in TT dollars and converted at a rate of US$1=TTD6.30.
All credit card charges are subject to the prevailing exchange rates of the card companies concerned.
Motor Insurance
The rental rates quoted do NOT include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). When considering
the
price of rental, please bear in mind the liabilities shown under "No CDW" in the following table.

Children's Car Seats
All of our rental agencies can provide child seats at a rate of US$5 per day per seat
Car seats are suitable for infants up to the age of 3 years
Motorcycles
Sheppy's Car Rental offer a choice of scooters and motorcycles
(helmet provided free of charge)
Motorcycles are subject to an excess payment of US$300 and no CDW is available.
