Relevant Extracts from the Sheppy Rental Contract:
d) 50% will be charged on all refund fees or to the discretion of the owner, not exceeding the quoted amount.
f) All insurance premiums are paid by owner g) The Hirer is responsible for the routine maintenance and care of the car and accessories.
h) Without CDW, your liability in the event of an accident, if you are at fault is 10,000 TTD (US1600.00/£1000/€1600). Sheppy offers two levels of CDW: Basic coverage - US10.00/day limits your liability to TT5,000/ (US 800.00/ £ 500/ € 800). Full Collision Damage Waiver (from 15-40 USD per day) offers protection with no excess.
i) Any hirer losing the key of the vehicle will be charges TTD 35 for a key replacement
j) The Hirer must be satisfied on spot that the car is in perfect working condition before taking possession of the vehicle.
k) Hirer acknowledges and agrees that vehicle is the property of the operator and is to be returned on termination date and time specified or sooner if demanded by operator. Failure to do so may result in a penalty charge of a minimum of one day’s rental.
l) Any person other than the hirer who is found driving the said vehicle, the vehicle would be seized by the owner or any person authorised by the owner and no monies refunded.
